ENG: "Fiesta" is an independent art fair based in Lima, Peru, which celebrates the value of handmade art through multiple editions throughout the year. "Fiesta" brought together over 50 independent brands including graphic illustrators, ceramic artists, and fashion designers in an event with a cool and independent spirit.Ā
For this edition, which marked the 10th anniversary of "Fiesta," the celebration was grand: a series of posters were created where the visual identity was composed of traditional vintage elements from a party (a little hat, a fur character, those funny jiggly inflatables dancing with air, a jelly cake, piƱatas, the mom's vase that nobody wanted to break, and some flowers from a garden where these parties used to take place) which come to life through the faces of classic kitsch little doll characters, generating a set of alive characters that create a versatile, approachable, and youthful graphic universe.āāāāāāā

ESP: Fiesta es una feria de arte independiente con sede en Lima, Peru que celebra en varias ediciones en el aƱo el valor del arte hecho a mano. Fiesta reuniĆ³ a mĆ”s de 50 marcas independientes entre ilustradores grĆ”ficos, artistas de cerĆ”mica y moda en un evento con buena onda y espĆritu independiente y alternativo.Ā
Para esta ediciĆ³n, Fiesta celebrĆ³ 10 ediciones y visualmente se llevĆ³ a lo grande: se creĆ³ una serie de carteles donde la identidad visual estĆ” creada por elementos tradicionales vintage de una fiesta (un sombrerito, un muƱeco, esos inflables graciosos que bailan con aire, un pastel de gelatina, piƱatas, el jarrĆ³n de la mamĆ” que nadie querĆa que se rompiera y alguna flor de algĆŗn jardĆn donde se hacĆan estas fiestas) que cobran vida a travĆ©s de rostros de muƱequitos Kitsch clĆ”sicos, generando una serie de personajes que crean un universo grĆ”fico versĆ”til, prĆ³ximo y jovial.
